Patar White Beach (Brgy. Patar) - Treasures is at the southern end of the longest stretch of beach in Bolinao. While other resorts have to be contented with small patches of sand, Treasure’s backyard is an uncrowded beach that extends for more than 2km. At the ends of the beach are coral and rock formation forming tide pools to explore for the inquisitive visitors.
Patar Caves (Brgy. Patar) - For something new under the sun without worrying about getting a sunburn, try a cool invigorating swim in either Cindy’s, Wonderful or Enchanted Caves.
Balingasay River (Brgy. Balingasay) - Set aside as a protected seascape, the three time winner of the cleanest river has century old mangroves areas that are nature’s hatchery for many of the native fish species.
UP-MSI Laboratory & Hatchery (Brgy. Guiguiwanen) - An extension of the University of the Philippines Diliman‘s College of Biology, here is your chance to come face-to-face with giant clams, corals, and sea urchins. Learn how to conserve and propagate them.
2. Truly Bolinao Tour (1/2 day)
Cape Bolinao Lighthouse (Brgy. Patar) - It was built by the Americans in 1903 and is the second highest in the country. This 300-foot structure guides vessels plying the international sea passage to Honk Kong, Japan, the U.S.A. and other countries. Climbing atop the lighthouse, one gets a spectacular panoramic view of the South China Sea.
St. James Fortress Church (Brgy. Germinal) - Built in 1609, it is the only church bearing the Seal of Queen Isabel of Spain.
National Museum of Bolinao (Brgy. Germinal) - View prehistoric fossils and bones, pre-Spanish artifacts, Pangasinan material culture & the general flora and fauna of Bolinao.
Port Bolinao Lighthouse (Brgy. Guiguiwanen) - Although shadowed by the grandeur of the Cape Bolinao Lighthouse, it still serves an important function guiding the smaller boat plying the waters between the mainland and Santiago Island.
Public Market (Brgy. Germinal) - Bolinao is also known as the "Fish Basket of Pangasinan." The best time to see the local produce and catches from the South China Sea is Market days, which are Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.
3. Islands & Cave Tour (1 day)
Hundred Islands National Park (Brgy. Lucap, Alaminos City) - Sparkling like diamonds, the waters glisten as the sun’s golden rays touch the pristine sea. Delightful in one’s eyes is the powdery blue sky casting a bright gleam beneath. The spread of white sand shimmers against the stream that changes hue, from emerald green to turquoise and azure, as the briny deep goes unfathomable.
The count, even greater (actually 124 at low tide and 123 at high tide), sums up the grouping of isles scattered incidentally along Lingayen Gulf, many of which are still unexplored. Covering an area of 1,844 hectares, the islands are believed to be some two million years old. According to certain folklore, the islands were tears of a primeval giant who lost his ladylove. Others tell of tall-tale of mermaids that once inhabited its seas.
Cacupangan Cave System (Brgy. Tagudin, Mabini) - Blessed with its underground treasures, the Municipality of Mabini has three major cave systems namely Cacupangan, Cabalyoriza and Sto.Rosario Cave Systems and hundreds of other uncharted caves scattered throughout the countryside attracting curious people from all walks of life who come and enjoy this one of a kind adventure called caving.
4. Historic & Pilgrimage Tour (1 day)
Redeemer’s Cross (Bani) - The large cross stands on Calvary Hill overlooking the China Sea in Surip, Bani; the annual Archdiocesan Penitential Pilgrimage, which is celebrated here every Holy Thursday, attracts hundreds of local and international devotees.
Provincial Capitol (Lingayen) - Designed by the eminent American architect Ralph Harrington Doane, the Pangasinan Provincial Capitol has seen much of the province’s history unfold. It has been identified as one of the 8 Architectural Treasures of the Philippines by the NCCA & the Filipino Heritage Festival, Inc. Visitors will find other nearby structures nearby like the Sison Auditorium, the Veterans’ Memorial Park and Maramba Boulevard to be perfect complementary components of a history well told.
Our Lady of Manaoag Shrine (Manaoag) - Folk tradition has it that the apparition of the Blessed Virgin requested that a church be built on the site she favored and from then on, in a succession of structures, the Shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag (from the Pangasinan word meaning “to call”) has built a legend and an admiration for the fervent faith of the Catholic masses.
